Where to start

If you are new to this, read the rug pull guide first: it gives the overall picture and the five checks that matter most. The other two guides go deeper into the two checks that decide most new-token cases: whether the money in the pool can be pulled out, and whether more tokens can be created.

Put it into practice

  • Token Search & Risk Scan: paste a contract address to see the liquidity, the share that is locked or burned, mint and freeze status, holders and the Trust, Volume and Codex scores, with the reasons.
  • Weekly Token Feed: new tokens from the last 7 days that passed Codex’s checks, one page per token. A place in the feed is not a recommendation.
  • Methodology: what each score looks at and what can override it.

Please note

These guides are general information. Scores and flags in Codex, such as “rug pull”, “scam” or “fake token”, are automatic risk signals built from public data: they are not proof, they can be wrong or out of date, and they are not an accusation against anyone. Codex is for information only and is not financial advice.
